With passion I work with people, teams and organizations to design a meaningful working environment
I grew up in a success and performance-oriented environment. Getting ahead, being successful, learning a lot and quickly were important drivers for me. Until my mid-30s, I had been a department manager at two automotive suppliers, a salesperson for large, international consulting projects and a member of the management board of an automotive supplier. Despite the external successes, I felt increasingly unfulfilled and unbalanced. Experiencing a burnout a few years later challenged me to question myself, my beliefs, my attitudes and behaviors leading me pursue a new path.
Again and again, I asked myself the question:
what kind of working environment do people need to be happy, successful and healthy? What can each individual do? What can companies do?
I found answers in theoretical approaches such as the integral approach of Ken Wilber and the consciousness model “Spiral Dynamics” as well as in practical concepts such as collegial leadership (Oestereich/Schröder), agile methods (work hacks/ complexithoden) and mindfulness practice.
In 2018, I started my own business. Working with numerous individuals, teams and companies, such as Buurtzorg, metafinanz, Daimler, I have become a trusted guide on how to create a new working world with an “agile mindset” and modern forms of organization, collaboration and leadership. Not everything is easier and better in an agile company, but I was able to help them shape an environment in which more happy, healthy people worked in a successful company.
My working method is integral:
systemic and meta-perspectively
empathic and intuitive
structured and result-oriented
courageous, curios and full of confidence
mindful and conscious
My principles for a modern working world:
People can and want to develop further if they are provided with the appropriate environment
People are intrinsically motivated
People develop their greatest potential when they are engaged in meaningful work, when they are (truly) responsible for their own work, and when they can contribute with all qualities and skills
The potential of a strong team is many times higher than the sum of the individual potentials
Companies are successful in the long-run when they:
understand themselves as living systems
focus on value creation and customer benefits
are willing to adapt thought pattern and create new framework conditions
consistently implement agile forms of organization, collaboration and leadership
